Let's Make ...
These Peanut Butter Brownies are so simple to make! Plus, they make the most decadent, moist and thick brownies ever with a sweet swirl of peanut butter to top it all off.
This particular recipe works with any chocolate you prefer. I have used chocolate chips, baking chocolate, and high-quality dark chocolate bars. The better the chocolate, the more decadent and fudgy these taste.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease an 8×8 pan.
In a medium bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt. In a separate large mixing bowl, add eggs, granulated sugar, and vanilla. Mix until eggs are broken and well incorporated.
In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Add 1 cup of chocolate chips and stir until fully melted. Remove from heat and allow to cool 1-2 minutes, but not harden.
Add the melted chocolate to the egg mixture and cream together. Add in the dry ingredient mixture and mix until smooth. With a spoon or flat spatula, stir in the remaining ½ cup of chocolate chips.
Pour the brownie batter into the greased pan. Heat the peanut butter in the microwave for about 15 seconds. Using a spoon, put small dollops of peanut butter over the surface of the brownie batter.
Bake for about 23-30 minutes or a toothpick inserted in the center comes out only with a few moist crumbs.
