Hearty soup and a great base, this Beef Cabbage Soup recipe is so easy to make! It is the perfect, easy school weeknight dinner recipe to make in the crockpot too!
In a large pan over medium heat, brown the ground beef and chop up into small bits as it cooks.
Add the ground beef to a slow cooker. Dump all of the rest of the ingredients except for the kidney beans into the slow cooker.
Cook on high 2-3 hours or low 4-6 hours. Add the kidney beans and cook for an additional 30 minutes.
Serve hot with oyster crackers on the side. This soup is great for taking to work or on a calorie conscious diet.
