Crock Pot Beef and Broccoli
A crockpot just makes dinner easy, and this tangy Sweet Soy beef recipe makes it delicious.

Slow Cooker Beef
- ½ Cup Lower Sodium Soy Sauce
- ½ Cup Mirin (Sweet Rice Wine) You can substitute with Sherry in a pinch but it is not the same
- 2 tablespoon Honey
- 2 tablespoon Dark Brown Sugar
- 2 tablespoon Ginger Minced
- 3 garlic cloves Minced
- ½ Cup Water
- 2 teaspoon vegetable oil
- 1 cup Beef Broth
- 1.5 lbs Sirloin
After Slow Cooking
- 2 tablespoon cornstarch
- 3 Green Onions thinly sliced
- 2 cups Broccoli Florets
- sesame seeds garnish
- Cooked Rice Jasmine
Whisk all of the slow cooker beef ingredients in a bowl. Place steaks and marinade into slow cooker. Cook on low 4-5 hours until tender and no longer pink.
Spoon a few tablespoons of the slow-cooker broth into a bowl. Add cornstarch to the bowl and whisk until smooth. Pour the mixture back into slow cooker and toss with the beef until combined.
Add broccoli and cook, covered, 20 minutes more.
Top with sesame seeds and sliced green onions. Serve over rice or noodles, if desired.
