Simple Pumpkin Cream Cheese Bread

This deliciously fall pumpkin flavored loaf is filled with cream cheese and the perfect fall dessert option that the whole family will love. Here is the easiest pumpkin cream cheese loaf recipe!


– 1 Egg – 1 cup Pumpkin – 2 tsp Vanilla – ½ cup Brown Sugar – ¼ cup White sugar – ¼ cup Oil – ¼ cup Sour Cream – 1 cup Flour – 1 ½ tsp Baking Powder – ½ tsp Baking Soda – 1 ½ tsp Pumpkin Spice


Cream Cheese Swirl – 8 oz Cream Cheese – ½ cup Sugar – 2 Large Eggs – 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract – 5 tablespoon All-Purpose Flour – ½ teaspoon Orange Zest


Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Line a 5×9 bread loaf pan with parchment paper to make it easier to pull out.




Mix together the egg, pumpkin puree, and vanilla. Add the sugars and mix until smooth. Stir in the oil and sour cream. Mix the dry separately, then mix together.

Pumpkin Batter


Cream together the cream cheese and sugar. Once there are no lumps, add in the rest of the ingredients and mix well.

Make Cream Cheese Filling


In the prepared pan, layer the pumpkin and cream cheese mixes with 1/2 the pumpkin on the bottom, followed by the cream cheese, and topped with remaining pumpkin.

Layer the Mixes


Swirl the batter a bit then bake for about 45-55 minutes or until the cake has crowned and the center is clean with a toothpick or by touch. Remove from the oven.
