Made from scratch, these easy Oreo brownies are a one bowl batter with a crackling top that's impossible to resist. Perfect for an after school or rich Christmas dessert!
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line an 8×8 pan with parchment paper.
Combine dry and wet ingredients in separate bowls.
Melt the butter and chocolate together over the stove. Remove from heat and let cool for three minutes before adding into the egg mixture.
Combine the wet and dry ingredients.
Finally, fold in the chocolate chips and ½ of the Oreo cookies with a spoon.
Pour brownie batter evenly into pan. Press the remaining Oreo cookie pieces on top of the batter.
Bake in oven for 23-35 minutes. Cook about 25 minutes for fudgier brownies and increase time for more cake like brownies.
