Today, I am sharing another installment of my Project Life or Pocket Style Scrapbook Album. I have a few pages from our adventures in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. As with my other Disney vacation scrapbook layouts, I used some of Sahlin Studio and Britt-ish Design cards from their Project Mouse collection.
Animal Kingdom Pocket Page Introduction
First, I have the introduction page to each day in each of the Disney Parks. I first showed this type of page with my Hollywood Studios scrapbook layout. With this page, I also used the Disney Park Map as well as the Animal Kingdom title as a diecut made with my Silhouette Cameo. The card with Donald Duck on it is actually one of our park tickets.
Attractions and Rides Scrapbook Pocket Page
The reverse pocket page layout features one of the heralding attractions at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, The Tree of Life. I added the Happy card from the Project Mouse collection and a few of the rides we went on during the day. Expedition Everest was probably my favorite ride in all of Disney. It goes backwards! However, I was not really the impressed with Kali River Rapids to be honest. I grew up with Grizzly River Rampage at Opryland and that ride was the best! But Disney had so much to offer, I won’t dwell on one ride.
The Tree of Life is actually a photograph taken by me. I added the text and the black gradient to the bottom. I thought it turned out really well. The side pictures are close-ups of the Tree. Carved from animals, the tree is probably one of the most beautifully impressive pieces of art I have ever seen.
Lastly, I have two sides of a half pocket page. This one features more punch outs using my Silhouette Cameo. Have I said how much I love that Cameo?! I nearly cried at Christmas when I got it and I never do that! My Disney vacation scrapbook album is really taking shape. I love using the project life pocket pages for this project. The memories make me so happy!
