I saw a great challenge over at the blog from My Mind’s Eye. It asked us to interpret “14 things in 2014”. I am not a “new’s year resolution” type of person. I’ve never purposely thought “How can I expand my personal growth this year?” as if it is something I can specifically focus on. I am way to busy for that. My personal growth has come from living life and then figuring it out later.
But this year is something to celebrate for my family. So many milestones, life changes, and fulfilling projects are underway. And how should I kick off the celebration (and a LOT of work)? Well, a scrapbook layout of course!
I used the Cut and Paste collection from My Mind’s Eye. I never get to scrapbook in girly colors so this was a nice change.
As I was doing this layout and making my list, I realized this is mini-album material. My epic quest (hopefully successful) to create the perfect spaghetti sauce from my garden deserves its own page. And so does our adventures in house-buying post market collapse and finally seeing all the DC treasures I have been promising myself since moving here.
I think I just added to my project list. Yay and uh-oh at the same time!
Hope today brings you something to celebrate!
