This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of The Hershey Company. All opinions are 100% mine.
Did you know that December 16th was National Ugly Sweater Day? Yes, we actually had a day to celebrate our inner tackiness! I got ready for Friday by celebrating with a little fun with all my tacky friends (I love ya’ll, I really do). Of course, I needed some invitations and some awards to encourage everyone to bring the ugliest sweater they owned, or borrowed. I also got to Celebrate with Hershey’s by supplying the grand prize for this party’s contest.
If you are hosting an ugly sweater party this year, I have both the invitations and medallions free for download on PDF.
The invitations have a front and a back that lines up perfectly in your printer. Simply print the front side, flip your paper accordingly, and print out the back on the invitation. To make them look extra nice, I recommend using the “best” printing options and printing either on quality thick card stock or matte photo paper.
Anyone willing to wear something so hideous that it is voted to be the UGLIEST deserves a sweet prize and a badge of horror. This packet includes winning medallions for the ugly, uglier, and ugliest sweaters in the contest. I know they will wear it proud! Or, at least, it won’t make their outfit any less ugly. Of course, I sweetened the
blow to their ego prize with some festive treats.
This year, the Hershey Company is getting in on the celebration with Hershey’s Kisses Kissmas Sweater Chocolates sold exclusively at Walmart. Really, it’s always a good time for chocolate and I keep these in a candy dish throughout the season. There are also limited-edition Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups Miniatures in holiday foils, a three-pound Hershey’s Milk Chocolate Bar, giant Hershey’s Kisses Milk Chocolates and a one-pound Reese’s Peanut Butter Santa, to make your season even merrier.
They are so cute! I really wanted to give out some contest prizes and for the grand prize winner, they will get to take home a trophy filled with these festive treats. Seems really fitting, right? I mean an ugly sweater definitely deserves some chocolate.
