Today I am sharing a simple project I did for storing all of my handmade cards. I can safely say the 60’s girly mod motif is not usually my style but it’s always fun to experiment with different styles in crafting. I actually made this decorative box to store and organize my cards in a few years ago but it recently got unearthed in the move.
The storage box itself was a simple white box I purchased from Walmart. I recovered the tops and sides using my stash of Crate Paper.
I decorated the lid of the card storage box with some embellishments and chipboard letters to denote that it was for my cards. The chipboard is hand painted.
The card box came with a tray which I use to keep my various envelopes separated from my handmade cards. For most of my cards, I keep them without sentiment so I can decide later if it is to be a thank you card, or a birthday card. All in all, a pretty simple but cute way to store your cards for easy access while keeping them in good condition. After the move, I think I may do another one to match my office a little better.
Have a great day!
