Hi everyone! I want to show you one of my favorite art activities for kids today. As an artist and a mom, I truly looked forward to hanging all of my son’s artwork up on the fridge. Unfortunately, my son as a toddler was more interested in eating the paint than putting it on the paper. One day, a friend of mine showed me this no mess artwork that I could proudly display. I was so thrilled!
For your toddler art project, you will need:
a box with a lid (like a shoe box)
rubber bands or tape
This toddler art project is super easy. Simply tape the sheet of paper in the box. Put a few dabs of paint on the paper and throw in 3-4 marbles. Close the lid and wrap rubber bands around the box or tape to hold closed. Now get up and dance!
The longer they dance, the more the color is spread. I usually start for 45 seconds or so. Then open the lid and check out your child’s masterpiece.
I think that I will cut out some bold boy font and hang his artwork above his bed.
Have a great day!
